Homestead Hollow County Park was purchased by the Washington County Park System in 1977 and officially opened in 1983. The 105 acre park is an old farmstead, and evidence of this can be seen in its barns which have been converted and updated into reservable shelters.
The Park contains excellent recreational opportunities including relatively level trails for hiking and cross country skiing.
Also available are a sledding hill, playground and ice-skating pond. The park has a restored prairie with native grasses and wildflowers that create colorful seasonal displays.
Soccer fields at the northwest part of the park are used by the Germantown Kickers soccer club for games and practices. Soccer fields are not available to the general public except for soccer only use by groups and by arrangement with the club. For information, the Germanton Kickers Soccer Club at 262-573-9290.

Shelter 3 & 4 Notice of cancellation must be given to the Natural Resources Department 90 days prior to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund minus a $100.00 administrative fee. Reservations cancelled less than 90 days prior to the reservation date will receive a 50% refund minus a $100.00 administrative fee. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to the reservation date will receive a refund on the damage deposit only.
Barn Notice of cancellation must be given to the Natural Resources Department 180 days prior to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund minus a $500.00 non-refundable fee. Reservations cancelled less than 180 days prior to the reservation date will receive a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled less than 90 days prior to the reservation date will receive a refund on the damage deposit only. Reservations that are made less than 180 days prior to the reservation and cancelled will receive a 50% refund. Reservations made less than 90 days prior to the reservation date and cancelled will receive a refund on the damage deposit only.
In the event of an extenuating circumstance (such as COVID-19), the Natural Resources Department will offer rescheduling and refund options. The timeframe of which you may reschedule or cancel may vary and will be determined by the Natural Resources Department.
Damage Deposit
will be returned in accordance with current Washington County accounting procedures. Refunds of the damage deposit are contingent upon the condition of the facilities following your event as determined by the Parks Department. Damage in excess of a deposit shall be borne by the person signing the application. Misrepresentation on the application may result in forfeit of damage deposit and immediate ejection from the Park. Deposits will be refunded to the person signing the reservation application form by mail approximately three (3) weeks following the reservation date, when the staff certifies that no physical change to the facilities took place and the facilities were properly cleaned immediately following the reservation.
