NOTICE: Starry Stonewort Dredging Project at Henschke Hillside Lake Access on Silver Lake - Starry Stonewort is a highly disruptive invasive species. A company will be dredging parts of the lake to remove the plants using scuba divers. Please be respectful and keep safe distances from the equipment and pipes for your safety and the safety of the workers.


ACKERMAN'S GROVE - BOAT LAUNCH ON LITTLE CEDAR LAKE
The boat launch on Little Cedar Lake will be CLOSED for 3 days starting Monday, August 19th thru Wednesday, August 21st for a small invasive species removal project. A dredging/scuba team will be using a DASH unit to remove Starry Stonewort, a very invasive and fast spreading plant that was recently discovered near the launch. Remember to check your boat and trailers and pull off weeds and wipe off mud/sediment to stop the spread of these invasive species.

Ackerman's Grove County Park lies along the southeastern shore of Little Cedar Lake. The 73 acres of hilly, wooded terrain offers beautiful views of the lake and opportunities to enjoy woodland and wildflowers along the hiking trail.
