Washington County Parks Coronavirus COVID-19 Update – 07/01/2020 
Washington County Parks and Trails is actively monitoring the situation and is taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As coronavirus (COVID-19) in Washington County begins to rise, we are using the best information we have to take proactive steps to protect the health of our community. Outdoor spaces and amenities are critical to the mental and physical health of residents. We are doing our best to maintain current level of services however we are not able to wipe down playground equipment, tables or other surfaces at the parks at levels necessary to prevent the spread. 

Park Amenity Status: 
• Rental Shelters – Open (Open under Blueprint Guidelines) 
• Rental Houses/Cabins – Open 
• Restrooms – Open 
• Portable Restrooms – Open 
* It is advised to bring hand sanitizer and toilet paper, with limited staff restrooms are only able to be cleaned 1-2 times per week. 
• Trails – Open 
• Dog Parks – Open
• Disc Golf Courses – Open 
• Playgrounds – Open (Strongly advised not to use - playgrounds only DISINFECTED 1-2 times per week) 
• Boat Launches - Open 
• Beaches - Open

Mass gatherings in parks must follow in accordance with the Washington County Blueprints and Guidelines. While at the park, it is important to maintain social distancing which means, limit contact of groups within six feet from each other for ten minutes or longer. Older adults, pregnant individuals, people with weakened immune systems, and people with underlying health conditions that are at increased risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are encouraged to take extra precautions. By minimizing non-essential contact, we can slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community.
